about Alex Raineriβs Fairytales tour
Described as βa born communicatorβ (The Australian), Alex Raineri presents Fairytales. Weaving tales of passion, loss, and beauty, Fairytales showcases works by contemporary Australian composers John Rotar, Michael BakrnΔev, Katy Abbott, and Ian Whitney, culminating in Melody EΓΆtvΓΆsβ Piano Sonata No. 2, based on a lesser-known Hans Christian Andersen tale, βA Story from the Sand Dunesβ.
Music in the Regions has a simple mandate: to provide high quality classical music to audiences hungry for rich cultural experiences across regional New South Wales. From small ensembles to chamber orchestras, familiar names to emerging talents - this is the time for a different sort of rhythm.
Regional audiences are seeking creativity. Musicians are craving new experiences. Communities are looking for new ways to connect.
Now, through the partnership of Music in the Regions, the opportunity is here to forge relationships across thousands of kilometres through the power of music.
