more school holiday programs for regional music students

Music in the Regions will continue to co-host regional programs for music students as part of the Holiday Break program supported by the Office for Regional Youth in partnership with Create NSW.

The programs are an opportunity to elevate and amplify the students’ love of music-making at a scale that is often not achievable in regional centres, and also to engage them with regional conservatoriums.

The next school holiday program in partnership with Coffs Harbour Regional Conservatorium will be an Academy of Piano Performance from 11 to 14 July.

Aimed at students aged 12-24 years of age, the four-day intensive program consists of pedagogical workshops, body rhythm workshops, one-on-one lessons with Academy tutors Roger Cui and Lana Chapliiova, performance opportunities, and three concerts presented by staff and visiting artists.

The program aims to ignite piano students of the Coffs Coast area and beyond by providing exceptional learning and musical experiences to the region, and to deliver world-class tuition and education right at the home of music education on the Coffs Coast - the Coffs Harbour Regional Conservatorium.
